Ruby completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science Degree (Honours) at University of Newcastle and a Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. Ruby’s clinical work has included working with children and families who have experienced trauma and adversity and individuals across the lifespan with a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression and eating disorders.

Ruby practices with an evidence-based approach that centres the client and fosters a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment. Ruby draws on attachment-based approaches and has experience in the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), the Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients of all ages. Ruby has a warm and open style that focuses on building authentic relationships with clients to understand personal strengths and build coping skills. Ruby also has experience in developmental and cognitive assessments and has training in the use of psychometric tools to inform assessment and guide intervention.
