Gabrielle is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Provisional Psychologist and is a member of the Australian Associations of Psychologists Inc. (AAPI).
Gabrielle undertook her undergraduate degree through Griffith University and her fourth year through Bond University where she completed her thesis examining whether experimentally induced nostalgia alters the processing of emotional stimuli. She also has a Certificate IV in Community Services Work.
Gabrielle has experience working with neurodiverse children. She has assisted in the facilitation of the FRIEND program, a social, communication and play-based program to help school-aged children with social challenges, and volunteered time within the Griffith peer support program.
Gabrielle aims to take a client-centred, collaborative approach to therapy, with an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
